Best of Both Worlds Whether shooting portraits or landscapes the Mamiya 645 AFDII handles perfectly, with a well-balanced and natural feel, even when held in one hand. The die-cast casing made from lightweight yet high-strength aluminium alloy, ensures reliable performance even under the harshest working conditions. The Mamiya 645 AFDII maintains all the excellent features of its predecessor, the 645 AFD, but with a host of enhancements that the photographer will find of great benefit. The most noticeable improvement has been to the auto focus system as the Mamiya 645 AFDII now includes an enhanced auto focus sensor for improved focusing speed and accuracy. Other enhancements include 36 custom settings to allow you to personalise your camera to the way you want it to work, an electronically activated mirror-up button, 1/3 or 1/2 f/stop adjustment of aperture and shutter speeds, 2-way (normal or shot) auto-focusing and 2 or 3 shot auto-bracketing. Bridging the gap between conventional and digital photography the 645 AFDII offers exclusive data transfer to a digital back via MSC (Mamiya Serial Communication) Intelligence. Utilizing the same camera body for film and digital capture means the Mamiya 645 AFDII offers greater flexibility for any photographic application making it the automatic number one choice for today’s contemporary photographers.
