This is not normal.
Correct operation of the film transport system is linked to the counter mechanism. I suggest you get the camera checked over by a technician.

I've been given a C220 TLR and as I've never used one before I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is normal or a problem.

The winder doesn't seem to stop at a frame, so I can load a new film and then just keep winding until it comes off the bottom spool without firing the shutter.

I've moved the multi-exposure setting from multi to single, the back is set to 120 as is the frame counter.

Probably a stupid question, sorry
