Hi Alan, I finally received the cheque yesterday. The date on the cheque was 18 Aug!!!! The service has been terribly disappointing, I had to ring up Sales so many times to chase them up before I finally got the cashback. Not encouraging.

I bought a Mamiya 7II and 65mm f4 lens in July, while Mamiya/JP was offering a 10% cashback on the purchased items. I duly sent off my sales receipts etc. to JP and sat tight to wait. Almost 3 weeks ensued, and I did not hear anything from JP, so I phoned up the Sales dept and was told to talk to someone called Keith. He assured me that Accounts had my cheque and were going to send it off.

A week passed and still, nothing from JP in the post. I called again and Keith promised to call back, but never did. After repeated phone calls and promises, I was told that the cheque would be put in "express post" overnight and would reach me on Saturday 6 Sept. To date, I still have nothing in the post. I'm sick and fed up of Sales making empty promises - why is it taking so long to mail a cheque which appears to have been cleared by Accounts?

Can someone from JP reading this please clarify?
