Flash with Mamiya RB67pro-S

Mamiya UK Forum: General: Flash with Mamiya RB67pro-S

Hi,

I am photographing a wedding later in the year and require a flash to use with my RB67pro-S.
I would ideally like to use the Mamiya Left-hand L-grip which screws on the bottom and can trigger the shutter release via the finger trigger. This would allow my right hand to concentrate on focusing while the left hand is firing the shutter.

I have access to a Metz 45CL hammerhead flash but assume I can not use this flash with the Mamiya hand grip bolted on as well as there is not a tripod screw on the bottom of the hand grip to attach a tripod or flash bracket.

Alternatively I could just use a manual/auto flash such as a Vivitar 285 and attach this directly onto the top of the left hand grip. But which option should I go for?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks
