RZ AE Prism Finder V's AE Finder II (FE 701) Whats the difference?

Mamiya UK Forum: General: RZ AE Prism Finder V's AE Finder II (FE 701) Whats the difference?

Hello,
Apart from the dials' position (on side old model, on top new model) you will be able to set half stop times and to work with automatic exposure aperture priority. New model (FE701) wil fit both old RZ pro and new RZ pro II bodies. I did buy one used on e-bay for my old RZ pro, and its metering accuracy is fantastic, as is its weight: I save a lot of money for gym.
Greetings.

Anon,

There is currently only one (and this has been available for several years, since the RZ Pro ll was introduced) RZ AE prism finder, Mamiya code FE701, but also referred to as the AE prism finder ll.

Hi

I hope someone can help me soon as I need this information before making a purchase of some used equipment. Am I right to say that there is a newer version of the AE Prism Finder for the RZ Pro 2 body? I have seen two models advertised on Jessops website at very differnt prices but Mamiya only mention one AE Finder called the AE Finder 2 on the website?? What is the differece in specification for these finders? Thanks to anyone who can respond as soon as possible to this.
